When Zebra Mussels were found in Oklahoma in 1993 I began the movement to deal with the potential threat to Oklahoma, Kansas, and Texas interests. I served as the district and division invasive species expert for 18-years until I retired.
I have spoke on several occasions at national and international conferences and assisted in numerous meetings and workshops concerning Zebra and Quagga Mussels in warm water environments of the southern U.S.
I developed the Tulsa District Corps of Engineers Zebra Mussel Action Plan and the (Lake Texoma) Denison Dam Response Plan. Now retired, I am available to personally assist water users in preparing for, and dealing with, their Zebra and Quagga Mussel impacts. Assistance such as;
